New Beginnings and Launch Date Set!

So excited! Excited about travel. Excited about the new blog look. There is even a link to the old Blogger site that no one could leave comments on unless you had a google account. So if you are new to our adventures, you can read quite the stories if you click on the Blogger link. But this new site should make it easy to receive your comments and support... which is greatly appreciated especially since I am solo! My last solo trip nearly met with disaster and I almost lost the awning down in the Everglades.

Chokoloskee Island in the Everglades

Hoping all systems will work and hoping I can manage this adventure with ease. You know I will keep you posted.

Gerard just bought me a new tire pressure gauge and a selfie stick. He built a platform for Sitka to be more secure in the front seat and have the opportunity to stretch out. I have to shop for provisions and decide if jewelry making supplies are going with or not. I am biting at the bit to hit the road.

I am thinking that Sitka and I will head out on Thursday morning the 25th. I should be in the Georgia mountains by the weekend and the Smokeys by Monday. I hear the evenings are in the 60s.....aaaah cool. Initial itinerary: Mt. Dora, Florida: Salt Springs Fort McCoy, Florida; Watermelon Creek Vineyard Glenville, Georgia; Magnolia Springs Millen Georgia; Tallulah Gorge State Park Tallulah Falls, Georgia.

Onward...
