It's been quite the journey learning to be boondockers and shunpikers. Gerard and I are retired and have moved from Northern Minnesota to Cape Coral, Florida. We play with designing and creating jewelry. See our other site at www.ZiOscreations.com, but I have always wanted to see all the road had to show me. 

 

We started by purchasing a hybrid travel trailer and have now graduated to a Class B van. For newbies our journey has been trial by fire. With both types of RVs we had extreme issues....siding flying off the brand new travel trailer near Roswell, New Mexico. Oh the stories we can tell. Graduating to the van didn't improve our lot, but rather took us from the frying pan into the fire. After two years of system failures, we believe we have this mega buck piece of complicated machinery working and we have learned an immense amount, but  I believe there will always be something.... the nature of the beast.

So now, I head out on my first long solo roadtrip with Sitka, our Swiss Shepherd and constant companion. I hope you will travel along with us. I might need the company.
